I found a social security death index listing for a Steve Lewis born March 2 1940 and passed August 19, 2010 in Palm Beach Florida. However, it may not be him, as this person was born in early March 1940 and the 1940 Kearney census shows Steve's parents but not Steve, and the census page had an April 10, 1940 date. Will keep looking
