My sister, Sharon, was and still is Glenda's (Marlene's sister'sj) friend. I was Marlene's friend, and while at A.O. Thomas, the sisters, Glenda, Marlene, and Sonya, invited us to ride their horses and do sleepovers at their parent's truct stop and cafe on old west Highway 30. Sharon and Glenda, both in Calif. now came up with a great photo of us on a very patient horse. I am glad to read of her hobbies, her children and grandchildren, and that she had a happy life. Thanks for that information on her. My childhood was not an easy one and the Callahans were among the great families who taught me family life.
