Lyle was born May 28, 1940. He died August 12, 1976 and was buried in the Kearney Nebraska cemetery. The result of an automobile accident at the Glenwood corner north of Kearney.

He was 36 years old.His brother Melvin and cousin Archie Busch also were killed in this dreadful accident.They were all farmers and veterans of military service. UNL graduate, Ag college, Former county Agent Sioux Co. Ne. Lyle was a good man and died to young.
I met Lyle when I started the first grade at District #16. Would you believe we were in the same class til we graduated from high school. Then Lyle went to the University of Nebraska while I was at Linclon General Hospital School of Nursing.
